NHS App - if you are downloading the App and you need your Linkage Key you must be registered with Patient Access.  If you are it can be found under My Account>Account Settings>My Practice (bottom right on screen)

The NHS App and the NHS COVID-19 app are two different apps.

The NHS App lets you share your COVID-19 status, order repeat prescriptions and a range of NHS services.

The NHS COVID-19 app is a contact tracing app, which also lets you check in to places like bars and restaurants

Any patients who are seen in the Practice now need to wear a face covering or mask if asked to attend an appointment. 

We are now offering  Video Consultations as well as Telephone Consultations to our patients.  When your appointment is booked we will send simple instructions on how to use.  Please refer to our Online Services tab with step by step instructions.

Repeat Prescriptions

Prescriptions for repeat items are computerised. When you collect your prescription you will receive a tear-off slip listing your medication. Please allow 48 hours to process. You may give consent for a chemist of your choice to collect your prescription on your behalf, which can be arranged by yourself with your personal pharmacist.

We would like to confirm that our working days for processing prescriptions are Monday from 8.30 am to Friday evening at 6.30 pm.

Therefore, any repeat prescription ordered over the weekend or evenings will not be processed until these start times and the period of processing of the prescription will start from this time.

Please ensure that you leave enough time for this process to take.

You can also arrange for your prescriptions to be ordered though the Electronic Prescribing Service. Ask at reception or your local pharmacy to sign up for this service. Your must also allow 48 hours for presciptions to be issued though this service. Click here to read the leaflet.

To obtain a repeat prescription you may:

  • Leave the tear-off slip with reception
  • Send a stamped addressed envelope with your slip or a letter to the Practice
  • Fax to 01273 540990
  • Email us on BHCCG.TheHaven@nhs.net
  • Order Online - you must register in person with the surgery before using Patient Access for the first time. Find out more HERE.

We do not take prescription requests over the telephone unless you have special circumstances known to us.

Medication Queries

Your local pharmacist will be happy to help you with any medication queries, as well as any of the doctors here at the Practice.

Medication Reviews

Patients on repeat medication will be asked to see a doctor, nurse practitioner or practice nurse at least once a year to review these regular medications and notification should appear on your repeat slip.

Please ensure that you book an appropriate appointment to avoid unnecessary delays to further prescriptions.
